Every leader has to take care of these seven things.
"Parvata Muni asked King Vaikhaanasa about the welfare of the seven limbs of his extensive kingdom (his ministers, his treasury, his military forces, his allies, the brahmins, the sacrificial offerings performed, and the needs of his subjects)."

Srila Prabhupada spoke many times on leadership for the welfare of the world and to please the Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna, the original King and leader. Here are some of his quotes:

Your political preaching is encouraging to me. We should expose before the public eye that the lowest class of men are now taking the posts of leaders, and therefore there can be no peace or happiness. I have given the idea for a poster which shall be entitled: "Select Real Leaders—Don't Spoil Life", and it will depict devotees as leaders, illustrating that real leaders have to be free of meat-eating and animal slaughter, illicit sex, intoxication and gambling. This poster is being prepared in L.A. and I want it distributed all over the world, and you can use it widely in your campaign for Mayor of Washington D.C.

Letter to Damodara -- Honolulu 16 January, 1974

We require learned spiritual teachers—first-class men-to lead. My disciples are training to become first-class men. First-class men are great devotees of the Lord, who can guide the administrators and the citizens through their words and practical example."

His Divine Grace Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada always signed his letters with the closing, "Your ever well wisher." No one in this material world can be the 'ever well-wisher' of another or others. His Divine Grace is not of this world. His blessing is for everyone and anyone who will take it. Take it!
